Hope you receive this....great blog!!! I'm a '68 PHS grad. 2nd grade classmate of Jon Provost. Pole vaulter at PHS. Wife's g'ma born in Fairbury NB around 1900. Knew a guy who went to Brown when it was in Glendora. Watched old PHS burn from Kingsley School kindergarten class playground. My mom still lives on Jefferson near Emerson. Thanks for the comment..I no longer can access this blog because I no longer have the original Email I signed up with...THANKS A LOT, GOOGLE!..you say you are a pole vaulter at Pomona High School, or you were at one time...You may have also known Bob Seagren and his older brother, Art, who I knew very well, at one time...It`s amazing that your wife`s grandmother was also born in Fairbury..a very unknown small town in Nebraska..I wasn`t around when the old Pomona High burned down, but I went to school in the portable classrooms next to the burned out buildings...nice hearing from you...
