Knott`s Berry Farm, October 31, 1953
I was taking this photo at age eleven while the family was visiting Knott`s Berry Farm..This was one of the many attractions where you can look through the bars at some guy who is in jail and your friend would tell the guy at the front booth what your friend wants the guy in the jail (which actually is just a dummy figure of some guy) to say to you while you are looking at him through the bars of the jail, and this is why everyone in this photo is cracking-up..My mother is on the far left with two friends

The Pomona First Federal Savings and Loan Assn employees of 1956
The 1956 Pomona First Federal Savings and Loan Assn employees..
Photo was taken shortly after this new building was built on North Garey Avenue in Pomona, California, and replacing the old building at 260 South Thomas Street..
My mother was employed as an insurance clerk here and she is pictured in the second row from the front, the fifth person from the left who is seated behind a desk and she has a white sweater on and wearing glasses...
I might also add that Pomona was a much different (and better) city than it is today at the time of this photo...Today Pomona resembles downtown skid row Los Angeles more than anything else

This is one of my father`s photos...Photography was one of his hobbies and he had his own dark room...He liked to take photos of natural looking places, such as this photo, and scenic type photos...My mother and my father, before I was born, would always go to Yellow Stone National Park in Wyoming and there they would camp out and he took many photos of the area...His occupation was as a lawyer for the Amarillo Oil Company...My brother and sister were both born in Amarillo, Texas..However, I was born later in Nebraska after my mom and dad had already split-up...My dad died in 1973 at the age of 62
